Lindale is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Floyd County, Georgia, set just south of Rome in the Coosa Valley of northwest Georgia. It is part of the Rome metropolitan area, and the 2020 census counted 4,283 residents. Lindale grew up around a large textile mill that long served as the community's economic and social anchor. The mill complex drew workers and shaped the surrounding mill village, giving Lindale a distinct industrial heritage that set it apart from purely agricultural neighbors.
